Phools Gold: Unlocking the Longevity of Your Blooms

by Abhineet kukrety     January, 30 , 2024

A stunning bouquet is more than just an aesthetic delight; it’s a living testament to the harmony of beauty and care. When you choose Simply Phoolish, you choose longevity as much as luxury. Let’s share the craft of making your blooms as enduring as they are enchanting.

Our farm-fresh blooms arrive at your doorstep with an aura of freshness that’s genuinely top-tier. However, sustaining this aura requires your touch.

Step 1: A Pristine Vase

The secret to longevity starts at the root. Ensure your vase is cleaned meticulously to banish bacteria and fungi that can adversely affect your bouquet’s lifespan.

Step 2: The Art of Cutting Stems

A fresh 45-degree cut allows your blooms to drink efficiently. Trust us, your Phools will thank you. It is also better to use a very sharp knife instead of scissors as there is a chance of damaging the stems while using the latter.

Step 3: Keeping Water Fresh

Replenishing water isn’t enough; total water replacement is the real game-changer. Every other day, give your blooms a fresh aquatic environment, free of bacterial buildup.

Step 4: Flower Food & DIY Alternatives

Your Phools arrive with a flower food packet, an essential trio of citric acid, sugar, and bleach.

Lost it? A teaspoon of vinegar, sugar, and a few drops of bleach will do the trick too.

Step 5: The Right Amount of Water

Fill your vase to just the right level—neither too low to starve your blooms nor too high to drown them. The sweet spot? About 2/3 full.

Step 6: Location & Ambience

Cut flowers should not be placed in direct sunlight. Place them where the light is gentle, and keep them away from heat sources and drafts of wind. Avoid placing them next to fresh fruits too!

Step 7: Petal Hydration

A light misting keeps petals fresh. Consider it the finishing touch to your floral care routine. A few sprays once a day will go a long way.

You have to believe that caring for flowers is an immensely satisfying and therapeutic experience. Your Phools are a living entity, deserving of the best care. If you found this guide helpful, follow us on Instagram for more specific flower care guides.
